Blank Slate Communications is our creative family’s LLC, and several of our books are published under the Layla Dog Press imprint, hence the doggie icon. Sadly, Layla has journeyed over the rainbow bridge, but we still love her and think about her every day!

I’ve designed over 150 book covers and have done at least that many interior layouts. You can see many of the covers Kristina has created by visiting Amphorae Publishing Group.

And we’ve designed marketing collateral and online ads, including for social media campaigns and BookBub promotions.

editing

The Makansi crew has well over twenty years of experience writing and editing fiction and non-fiction, and we offer both developmental and line editing.

A mphorae Publishing is an award-winning small press founded in 2014 through the merger of Blank Slate Press and Walrus Publishing. Our books are distributed through IPG. We publish YA and Adult fiction across genres, but many of our books are historical fiction, women's fiction, mysteries, thrillers, or coming-of-age stories focused on LGBTQ+ characters.

I've been the primary editor, layout and cover designer since the beginning.
